Reflecting on their seven-year journey, David expressed his amazement at how quickly time has flown by. "We can't believe it's been seven years. It's flown by," David shared as the couple posed by the entrance where some of their first photographs as a married couple were taken.

The couple reminisced about their tradition of returning to Dormy House for their anniversaries. "For the first few years after we got married, we came back to Dormy House on our anniversary because it holds such magical memories. Then one year we were so busy we left it too late to book, and then Covid struck – so to be back now is extra special," Frankie added.

Love Born on Ice

David and Frankie Seaman's love story began on the 2009 Dancing On Ice tour, where they grew close and eventually fell in love. The couple credits the show for bringing them together and creating lasting friendships. "I loved working with all my friends, I partnered with some great celebrities who I remain friends with, and I met my husband, so I don't have a bad word for what we produced at that time," Frankie told HELLO!

David and Frankie married in 2015, and their bond has only grown stronger over the years. Despite the ups and downs, they have always found joy in their shared experiences and mutual support.

Dancing On Ice: A Bittersweet Reflection

When Dancing On Ice was revived four years ago, Frankie was not invited to join the professional lineup, a decision that initially left her feeling disappointed. However, she has since chosen to focus on the positive memories from her time on the show. "I was very lucky because I'd just retired as a professional skater, so to then get another nine years of my career through a show that was at the height of its popularity and everyone loved was extraordinary," Frankie explained.

Reflecting on the show's revival, Frankie noted that it has changed significantly from its original format. "Since it's been back, it’s a different animal. I'm not involved, and from what I've seen, that's not such a bad thing because I don't think it's what it was, and I find that sad," she said.

Future Adventures Await

Looking ahead, David and Frankie are excited about exploring new places and embarking on new adventures. They revealed plans for a trip to Rwanda to see the gorillas, an experience they are eagerly anticipating. "We're off to see the gorillas, which is so exciting!" Frankie shared.

David expressed his contentment with their life together, emphasizing the joy they find in each other's company. "I'm so content in my life," David said. "We spend so much time together, but we're always busy, always talking and laughing."
